Competition Study for a Villa
Team Alain-Celest de Buck
Result selected for exhibition
The central court is surrounded by different lifted volumes. Each volume has its own level and function and is organized by the level of privacy. A shortcut is provided from the highest level (the master bedroom) to the entrance.
The volumes are carried by “random” coloms representing forest and garden, making the volumes more “free”.
Underneath a water square reflects the sunlight and can be used for swimming in summer or ice skating in winter. The garden continues on the roof and has different sustainable possibilities (isolation, filtering of (rain)water)
The original design was selected for exhibition and published.
